Q.
When and where do you meet?
A. Every Tuesday
night at 6:30 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church
(map). This may change in the future. Check back
here or
sign up for our e-newsletter to be sure you have
the right location.
Q. What is worship
like?
A. We sing, we
laugh, we read scripture, we talk about what's
important to us, and we look for God in our lives. We typically worship in the style of the Episcopal
Church, which means that we follow a certain format
for our worship. We mix ancient prayers with
new prayers, old hymns with new praise songs, and
it's always pretty laid back. For more about
Episcopal worship and beliefs, check out our
worship page and our
episco-what? page.
Q. Do you have to be
an Episcopalian to come?
A. Not at all. Although we worship according to the Episcopal
tradition, we want you to feel as welcome at our
table as you would if you were sitting at Jesus'
table. Our goal is to care about you, not to
convert you.
Q. Is the food
REALLY free?
A. Yep. The
sweet folks at
Trinity Episcopal Church work really hard to
provide meals for you. You never have to pay
to eat, but if you want to give a donation
toward future meals, just visit our
support us page and make a PayPal donation. If you want to send a thank-you note, email them at
trinitychurch@enia.net.
Q. Is the food
always home cooked?
A. Usually, but
sometimes we do order pizza, subs, etc.
Q. Is there a
vegetarian option?
A. We try to make
sure there's always something good there for our
vegetarians.
